Camping Klenovica near Rijeka

Submitted by | 12,480 views

Camping Klenovica is located in Klenovica, a small fisherman’s village about 54km south from Rijeka at the foot of the Velebit mountain range. The camping lies very close to the sea and has a long pebble beach that also contains platforms for sunbathing. The sea in front of the camping is ideal for windsurfing and sailing. Guests can rent lounge chairs, umbrellas, motorboats and pedal boats at the beach. From the camping, guests have a beautiful view over the Kvarner Bay and the island Krk. There is a footpath along the coast that runs from Klenovica to the nearby village of Smokvica. Klenovica is a quiet village at the main coastal road in between Novi Vinodolski and Senj, the village offers only a few restaurants and supermarkets, making it an ideal destination for people who are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday with an authentic coastal atmosphere.

The area offers a variety of beautiful pebbly and rocky beaches. The sea is a little cooler here because of the many springs in the sea, offering extra refreshment on hot summer days. 10km from Klenovica lies the town of Novi Vinodolski, well known for its fresh mountain air, lovely old town centre filled with shops, restaurants, café’s and bars, and the popular Blue Flag beach called Lisanj. The scenic beauty of the Vinodol valley makes it a perfect location for walking and cycling. You can also have a look at nearby Camp Kozica, which has its own private beach.

Pitches and facilities at Camping Klenovica:

There are 150 electricity connections and 150 (waste) water supply stations throughout the camping. Guests can occupy an area between 40 and 60m², depending on the size of their vehicles.

Each mobile home consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining room and a bathroom. Each home has a covered terrace with garden furniture and a parking place. The distance to the sea is 150m.
